This interview is an unbelievable treasure trove for fans of Theroux, and yourself. I've only just discovered your work, via my immersion in PT, but look forward to adding your find perspective, and output, to my intake.

I slog through the bad books too if I'm reading a writer. I want to understand why they're bad, why they didn't work and why the best ones did. It's very helpful for my own writing.

There isn't one. And Paul said many times he'd never write an autobiography. So much of it is there in his books, if you read between the lines.
