If it even comes close to The Way of the World it will be a pleasure. May be of interest to you now that you are back in Japan. Had you read it previously? The Wikipedia page is interesting.
Yes, I read The Japanese Chronicles six or seven years ago. Pretty sure I still have a copy. My books are somewhere on the high seas, and should arrive in another month (I hope!).
