I put together a short update video for Personal Landscape followers on the state of the podcast as 2025 comes to a close, and what you can expect from me in the first half of 2026.
That’s a boatload of books you’ll be in shipping! No wonder they have to go by sea. Thanks for this update — I feel like whatever you do for the podcast is a win for me as a listener. Once a month makes sense and will be something for me to look forward to. Is Colin Thubron in the mix for 2026? He’s one of the.nest.
Thank you Taylor. And thank you for your support. Yes, I'm hoping to talk to Colin Thubron in the new year. I have several mutual friends, so it should be easy enough to get in touch. I had one really big guest in the works for January but that writer won't be able to do it until spring (after I relocate and get set up again) due to being booked at a heap of events in January. I'm trying to pull something else together on short notice. If I can't, then I'll record one from temporary quarters in Japan.
That’s good to hear about Thubron. I keep wondering if he’s going to write another travel book — which are of course so much more than merely his travels. Good luck on the big move — and if you need to take a break from the podcast, there are plenty for us to relisten to.
